getting packed for the rochester convention. everything is pretty much ready to go, the van is waiting to be packed...just got a few quick tats to do today and were on the road first thing tomorrow morning. hopefully itll be a good time, no bullshit, no drama...wed better sell some shit, cuz i want to get rid of EVERYTHING.

and by the way, people that get mad at you for NOT doing a $20 heart tattoo can go fuck themselves.

we had a great weekend in manchester. did some tats, drank some beers, ate a lot of calamari...good times. we got to hang out with some friends and even met a few new ones. much thanks to everyone that came out to support us and bought our shit.

Apple Tattoo

I just did an apple tattoo on a good client of mine. I tattooed her a few years ago at the last shop i worked in, and she tracked me down. Had a lot of fun too.

I've also got a lot of new paintings up. We've all been fairly busy cranking out tats and paintings these days. Good times.

airbrushing...

...is really fucking hard to do. the shop bought an airbrush to fuck around with. its pretty hard to control, but once you get the hang of it its really fun, and you can pull off some really neat shit.

i tattooed a girl this morning that yelled and howled through her entire tattoo. we had to cut the session short so we can finish the tattoo another day. lameness.

and my headache is back...

polish eagle painting

just finished this polish eagle painting. this was a commission piece for a client of mine that grew up in poland. hes giving it to his parents. this took me about 6 hours or so to do. i dont think it came out too bad.

super sweet saturday

another bangin saturday here at Liberty. my first client didnt show, the braindead cunt, so she loses her deposit. and i got to spend that much more time refining garrits umbrella tattoo, which came out pretty dope. then i finished a huge rose rib piece i started last month, and busted out a cross and flag on her boyfriend. i also got a healed photo of an eagle i did on her cousins arm.

flash got to tattoo an old townie and his third wife. fucking hilarious.

davey finished a huge dragon piece that hes been working on forever. its about fucking time if you ask me...

weve been getting a great response over the convention stuff, so im sure were gonna be booked up pretty well after all.

NEW BIG SHIT

banging out the big shit these days. i just finished a giant fucking skull on one of our more loyal clients. im fairly pleased with it. davey has been gearing up to do some new big pieces as well, and were all cranking out artwork for the upcoming conventions and an art show by mcinnis tattoo (RI) in august. so were all staying pretty busy.

im currently working on a one-off flash sheet that ill be making prints of for the conventions. hopefully itll be done by then.

little paintings

here's a cross section of the little paintings ive been working on. as of today theres about 18 or so, and i plan on keeping up the pace until the manchester tattoo convention in july.

So today we had TONS of walk-ins, one of which wants me to do a straight-up hillbilly mountain man tattoo on him. overalls, shotgun, and all. sickness.

Another day at the shop. Davey got a walk-in for the Iron Maiden trooper on an arm, which is fucking dope. I just finished my first appt and now I'm waiting on my second, a gigantic solid black fleur de lis on an arm. im actually covering up a cross i did a few weeks ago, so this should be interesting.

we got invited to do a local convention, which we're super stoked on. And a few friends are coming up for the Manchester convention as well, which is great cuz we'll have stuff to work on.

Davey tattooed my ribs yesterday, which hurt like eight bitches on a bitch boat, but it wasn't nearly as bad as when he punched me in it today because he forgot he tattooed me. Asshole.

as i was saying, things are going well. Davey is tattooing some clients we met at the CAO cigar party thing in Southington last week, and Flash is doing a Punisher tattoo on a friend of his. I am the only one not working right now, mostly because I'm an idiot who cant use a calendar properly...my bad.

thats okay. im just gonna drink my coffee and catch up on some work.

NICE AND STEADY...

The shop has been going fairly well of late. We've been banging out some nice pieces lately, both large and small. I've been doing a decent amount of tribal lately, which offers a bit of downtime.

I've finally finished the graphic design work for the new Cutting Edge skateboard, and I'm planning on dropping it off today.

I'll post more later. Right now I have to cart my girl off to work so she can fly off to Milwaukee...

Just getting started

Hey everyone, we're just getting up and running on blogspot. We're gonna try and keep this site pretty well updated with our works and our progress as a business.

Last night we did a promo gig for CAO Cigars International. We hung out down at Fire n Smoke Cigar Shop in Southington, CT, which is a pretty chill spot. We sat in their lounge and painted all afternoon and into the evening. John, Scott, and the rest of the guys from CAO are all great dudes, and we really appreciate the opportunity to do some art for them. Thanks again guys!

The only downside is we're hacking up smoke the morning after...
